Slow down, stitch, and create a charming handmade bookmark you’ll actually use. This beginner-friendly cross-stitch workshop is perfect for anyone curious about embroidery or looking for a relaxing, creative break. You’ll learn the fundamentals of cross-stitch while working from start to finish on your own bookmark.
In this single-session class, you’ll:
- Learn the basics of cross-stitch tools and materials
- Practice proper stitching techniques and thread tension
- Learn how to start and finish stitches cleanly
- Follow a simple, beginner-friendly pattern at your own pace
You’ll be able to choose from a selection of predesigned bookmark patterns—clean, graphic, and perfect for first-time stitchers. This workshop is designed for all skill levels, with step-by-step guidance and plenty of hands-on help in a calm, cozy setting.
All materials are included, and you’ll leave with a completed (or nearly completed) bookmark and the confidence to keep stitching at home.

What dates are the workshops?

If you are interested in a private class, or a special group class, please send us a message and we will do our best to meet your requirements while providing a great experience.
Is there an age limit for workshops?
We ask that children 12 and under be accompanied by an adult for all workshops. Older children are welcome to attend without an adult. Wine will only be served for individuals 21 or older.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is fairly generous. Please contact us as soon as possible if you know you cannot make a scheduled workshop or event so we can refund or reschedule you. Private events have different criteria. Please review the cancellation policy page for more details.
