Slow down and discover the art of hand embroidery in this beginner-friendly three-week workshop series. Perfect for anyone curious about stitching or looking for a relaxing creative routine, this class builds skills gradually while giving you time to practice, ask questions, and create something truly personal.

Over three weeks, you’ll learn essential embroidery techniques in a calm, supportive studio setting—and leave with a finished piece you’re proud of. No prior experience is required.

What you’ll learn & do:

• Week 1 
  Learn + Stitch

  • Intro to needlepoint & Cross Stitch basics

  • Pattern transfer

  • Choosing colors

  • Learn two foundational stitches

  • Start your mini canvas

  Week 2 
  Open Studio Stitching Session

  • Students work on their piece in class

  • Instructor guidance + stitch correction

  • Learn optional embellishments

  Week 3 
  Finishing Day

  • Final stitches

  • Border finishing

  • Photos of completed work

Personalize your project

After registering, we’ll reach out to review your design idea. Simple line designs work best for embroidery. If you’re unsure what to choose, we’re happy to suggest ideas, help you decide during class, or you may select from predesigned options available in the studio.

Bring your own item (optional)

You’re welcome to bring a personal fabric item—such as a shirt, pants, or other textile—to embroider. We’ll confirm ahead of time that it’s suitable and help you plan your design. You may also choose to stitch on a provided practice canvas.

By the end of the series, you’ll have a completed embroidered piece and the skills to continue stitching on your own.
