Leather Coaster & Tooling Workshop

Get hands-on with leather and learn one of the most satisfying parts of the craft: tooling and stamping. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore traditional leatherworking techniques while creating two finished, hand-tooled leather coasters you’ll actually use.
This class focuses on learning the fundamentals of stamping and pattern layout, with time to practice before working on your final pieces.
In this one-hour session, you’ll:
- Learn how to case leather properly for stamping
- Use metal stamps and mallets to create patterns and textures
- Practice layout and spacing for clean, intentional designs
- Apply basic finishing techniques to protect your coasters
You’ll begin with practice leather to get comfortable with the tools, then move on to creating two finished leather coasters to take home.

If you are interested in a private class, or a special group class, please send us a message and we will do our best to meet your requirements while providing a great experience.
Is there an age limit for workshops?
We ask that children 12 and under be accompanied by an adult for all workshops. Older children are welcome to attend without an adult. Wine will only be served for individuals 21 or older.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is fairly generous. Please contact us as soon as possible if you know you cannot make a scheduled workshop or event so we can refund or reschedule you. Private events have different criteria. Please review the cancellation policy page for more details.
