Step into leatherworking with a project you’ll actually use. In this beginner-friendly belt making workshop, you’ll create a custom leather belt sized specifically to you, using high-quality materials and simple, approachable techniques.
This class is designed to demystify leatherworking while giving you hands-on experience with real tools and hardware—no stitching required.
In this one-hour session, you’ll:
- Size and cut a belt to your measurements
- Learn how to punch clean holes for buckles and keepers
- Use Chicago screws to assemble leather projects (a versatile skill for future builds)
- Apply basic finishing techniques for a clean, professional look
Belt strap blanks are pre-cut to width so you can focus on fit, assembly, and finishing. You’ll leave with a durable, handmade leather belt and the confidence to tackle simple leather projects at home.

Is there an age limit for workshops?
We ask that children 12 and under be accompanied by an adult for all workshops. Older children are welcome to attend without an adult. Wine will only be served for individuals 21 or older.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is fairly generous. Please contact us as soon as possible if you know you cannot make a scheduled workshop or event so we can refund or reschedule you. Private events have different criteria. Please review the cancellation policy page for more details.
